The Bronson is Collins’ interpretation of a pilot style watch. It’s also the most affordable in their current lineup — an impressive feat for an American designed and assembled watch with an automatic movement. The first thing you’ll notice about the Bronson is the subdued, matte bead blasted 316L stainless steel case, measuring in at 40mm case. With a thickness of 12.5mm and a lug-to-lug of 48mm, the watch is well-suited for a variety of wrist sizes. Protecting the dial, there’s a double-domed sapphire crystal, and on the right side of the case, you’ll find a custom push down crown that sports the Collins “C” on the flat side, which is inspired by design of volume knobs. The watch is rated to 100m of water resistance — more than enough for everyday activity.

The Bronson sports a velvet matte black dial, treated with SuperLuminova “Old Radium” lume and large arabic numerals. In the light, they read as a rich creamy tan, but when the lights go out, it glows a bright neon green. To tell the time, you’ll have the pleasure of reading the bold, sword-shaped hands. The Bronson ships on a thick, genuine leather strap that’s tanned to a deep brown.


Inside the Bronson, you’ll find an SII NH35 automatic movement ticking away. Collins regulates the movement to six positions to ensure accuracy, no matter how you wear the watch. The movement features a 21,600bph beat rate for a smooth sweep around the dial, while 24 jewels keep the movement lubricated.
