From the folks who brought you Raven Watches, comes Finch Knives. This Kansas-based company makes a wide range of pocket knives that are well suited to EDC and adventure. The “Finch” draws inspiration from a classic fishing lure — short, stout, and effective. The body of the knife widens from the clip side out in order to accommodate the cleaver-style profile of the blade. Small, yet mighty, the Runtly is packed with features that will make it an excellent go-to for your everyday carry.

At just 5.5” overall, the Runtly is split between a 2.25” blade and 3.25” handle. Crafted from a G10 composite, the handles feature a unique depth and texture that makes it as nice to look at as it is to use. Opening the knife is easy, thanks to the flipper mechanism and generous nail nick in the blade. It stays locked in place thanks to the internal liner lock, which is nice and sturdy. A milled titanium pocket clip keeps it clipped to your pocket in a tip up carry configuration.

About Finch

From Steve Laughlin of Raven Watches and knife designer Spencer Marquardt comes Finch Knives. Designed in Kansas, these outdoors-inspired knives are a direct reflection of the passions and hobbies of the founders. One look at their knives, and you’ll notice the familiar vintage lines of their designs, along with some elements (like lume) borrowed from the world of watches. It’s not all old-school though, they make use of modern blade steels and handle materials like various colors of strong G10 fiberglass sheet laminate.
