The Intereuropa goes back to Autodromo's core inspirations by celebrating mid-century Italian Sports cars and racing. A hybrid sports/dress watch, the Intereuropa is nimble and sleek, yet exudes luxury and glamour, just like the cars from which it draws. The 39mm case features an elegant bowl shape and wire lugs with a full polished exterior. Thanks to the Swiss-made, hand wound movement, a first for Autodromo, the case is nice and slender as well.
The dial speaks more directly to automobiles, drawing from vintage tachymeter design. Built in layers, the Intereuropa features a floating glass ring on which the primary index is printed. To then create a unique hovering effect, the numerals are re-printed on the back of the sapphire crystal. At six, you'll then find a small-seconds sub-dial on the lower surface, adding to the dial's unique sense of depth.
Powering the Intereuropa is the ETA/Peseux 7001. This Swiss-made caliber features 17-jewels, small seconds, 42-hour power reserve and a beat rate of 21,600 bph. It is also remarkably thin at just 2.5mm, allowing for generally thinner watch design.
