Norqain is a young brand with only a few years of existence under their belt, but in that short period of time, they’ve managed to make quite the impression on the watch world with their excellent design and precise Swiss construction. These 41mm stainless steel chronographs are designed entirely in house, and manufactured by their best partners who were gained through their extensive experience in the watchmaking industry. Inspired by expeditions in the great outdoors, their Adventure Sport line is tough, yet handsome.

Looking at the Adventure Sport Chrono Day/Date and you can immediately tell that it’s meant to be taken outside. This clean, modern, and sporty chronograph is housed in a 41mm wide by 15mm thick 316L stainless steel case. A large, textured crown rests at 3:00, flanked on either side by a screw down chronograph pusher used to activate the watch’s timing function. Around the outside of the dial, there’s a stainless steel bezel that has a knurled pattern on the sides for a firm grip. Protecting the dial, there’s a sapphire crystal that’s treated on both sides with an anti-reflective coating to ensure optimal legibility at all angles. On the dial, you’ll find chronograph registers at 6, 9, and 12 that measure hours, running seconds, and 30 minutes, respectively. At 3:00, there’s a convenient day/date readout rendered in white text on a black background to blend in with the dial. The dial itself is textured with Norqain’s signature pattern, reminiscent of carbon fiber. Red accents on the dial and seconds hand add a hint of color, while SuperLuminova on the polished applied indices and hands enhance legibility in low light situations. 

Inside the watch, beating at 28,800 beats per hour, you’ll find Norqain’s NN17, a customized Selitta SW500a. This mechanical chronograph is automatically wound via the customized rotor inside. Fully wound, the watch will run for 48 hours between wearings. 25 jewels keep the movement lubricated and running smoothly.
